Hello, I've got "The Anylogic executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library." when I try to launch Anylogic after installing it in a new Ubuntu 9.10 laptop. I've also insatalled the sun-java6-jdk and sun-java6-jre packages. Thanks for your help, Jose

Hi Jose, Also please try to install "xulrunner" package. Probably it will help to run AnyLogic.

Hi Pavel, Installing "xulrunner" worked with previous versions but it doesn't with Ubuntu 9.10. I can't run AnyLogic neither with Ubuntu Desktop 9.10 (32 bit) nor with Ubuntu Desktop 9.10 (64 bit). Best regards, Jose

Do I only need to install xulrunner or do I have to use it in a particular way? Simply installing xulrunner did not help, the software simply crashes at the splash screen.

installing libxul0d on ubuntu must fix some of this problems, but when you create new project / open project anylogic still crashes

Пробовал установить AnyLogic на Ubuntu 10.10, При Файл -> Создать Модель следующее сообщение об ошибке: Event Loop Exception Reason: No more handles [MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME='/usr/lib/xulrunner-addons'] (java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Could not load SWT library. Reasons: /home/mindswap/.AnyLogicUniversity/Config/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/145/1/.cp/libswt-mozilla-gtk-3650.so: libxpcom.so: невозможно открыть разделяемый объектный файл: Нет такого файла или каталога no swt-mozilla-gtk in java.library.path /tmp/swtlib-32/libswt-mozilla-gtk-3650.so: libxpcom.so: невозможно открыть разделяемый объектный файл: Нет такого файла или каталога /tmp/swtlib-32/libswt-mozilla-gtk-3650.so: libxpcom.so: невозможно открыть разделяемый объектный файл: Нет такого файла или каталога ) Xulrunner усстановлен. /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.9.2.12/libxpcom.so есть, как посмотреть/изменить java.library.path для AnyLogic и вообще заставить программу работать. Евгений, Данная проблема на Linux известна. Ее причина и способ решения описаны здесь: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21271865 Для решения проблемы можно попробовать установить Mozilla через Synaptic Package Manager.
