I've got
"The Anylogic executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library."
when I try to launch Anylogic after installing it in a new Ubuntu 9.10 laptop. I've also insatalled the sun-java6-jdk
and sun-java6-jre packages.

Also please try to install "xulrunner" package. Probably it will help to run AnyLogic.

Installing "xulrunner" worked with previous versions but it doesn't with Ubuntu 9.10. I can't run AnyLogic
neither with Ubuntu Desktop 9.10 (32 bit) nor with Ubuntu Desktop 9.10 (64 bit).

Do I only need to install xulrunner or do I have to use it in a particular way?
Simply installing xulrunner did not help, the software simply crashes at the splash screen.

installing libxul0d on ubuntu must fix some of this problems,
but when you create new project / open project anylogic still crashes
