AnyLogic 6 Discussion

Anylogic can support Agent-based modelling in a GIS environment, but the current functions provided seems weak. which aspects can be further extended?
Please tell me, what functions do you want to be available in Agent-based modelling in a GIS environment?
I want to make each feature in a gis map become a shape as drawn with graphic editor. Can I? how?
GIS map it is a complete object. You may draw shapes over the GIS (e.g. borders) and then refer to them in the model as shapes, not as elements of the GIS map.
do you mean I must trace the borders of political regions in a gis map with graphic editor? This will be a big work! now, agent based modelling in a gis environment is popular. I think more functions or objects may be provided in anylogic. maybe a profesional gis library should be developed for attracting more users. someone has developed a gis extension for netlogo(http://ccl.northwestern.edu/netlogo/4.0/extensions/gis/). But netlogo is not as efficient as anylogic. If I wish i can get the similar functions in anylogic.
Thank you for your idea. We will think about adding such features in further versions of AnyLogic Professional.
I want to link agents to GIS shapes, such as roads. Why i can do this?
