AnyLogic North America LLC is a newly established US-based branch of XJ Technologies Company Ltd. – an international leader in simulation modeling software for business applications and provider of consulting services. XJ Technologies designs, develops and markets AnyLogic™ – an innovative simulation modeling tool that combines system dynamics, discrete event and agent based modeling methods. AnyLogic customer base is rapidly growing and currently includes more than 350 companies and governmental organizations and 600 universities worldwide. AnyLogic has become a standard for simulation in several global corporations.
Position offered
We are looking for a well motivated and professional individual to become the Manager of Sales and Business Development of AnyLogic North America (NA) – the key person representing our interests in NA region, our biggest market. For this position we are offering a competitive base salary plus excellent commission and benefits package. Training for AnyLogic and our simulation technology methodology will be provided.
Key responsibilities
- Actively promote and sell AnyLogic and our consulting services in North American market
- Follow-up with prospects by email, phone and WebEx (currently 10-20 NA leads are generated per day by XJ Technologies)
- Hold phone conferences (mostly sales-related - technical support is done by XJ Technologies directly)
- Perform in-office and/or on-site presentations of AnyLogic tool and our technologies
- Participate in managing consulting projects with NA clients (negotiations, kick-off meetings, iterations of functional specs and monitoring project deliverables)
- Represent us at trade shows and conferences and generate new prospects
- Market and organize AnyLogic trainings (XJ Technologies provides the instructors)
- Provide us with customer feedbacks and actively help us in improving the product
- Monitor and report competitor products and services
Requirements
- Excellent people and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Significant sales and negotiation experience
- Work experience in simulation-related area
- College degree – an advance degree is preferred
- Ability to work alone and operate under minimum supervision
- Mobility and willingness to travel
